Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Salesperson to join our Outdoor Products Division at our Ellington, CT location. The ideal candidate will have sales experience, basic knowledge of building materials, excellent customer service skills, and a strong ability to communicate effectively. This position is perfect for someone who is organized and thrives in a dynamic environment. Experience with outdoor product sales is a plus!
Working days will be Monday through Saturday with one day off.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Sell a variety of outdoor products, including sheds, garages, outdoor furniture, and other outdoor living structures, to walk-in and call-in customers
- Follow up on quotes, vendor leads, and customer service issues
- Updating open quotes and orders as needed
- Order entry and scheduling
- Maintaining a clean and inviting display area
- Installing sales and product signs
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Sales experience
- Basic knowledge of building materials

- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, organized, critical thinker
- Ability to function independently and in a team
- Computer skills
- Interpersonal skills – effective time management and organization
- Customer service skills with both customers and vendors
